Located just outside of the heart of DFW, and in one of the fastest growing suburbs, the Plano, Texas office serves as one of the Company's two operations centers. It serves as the main hub for HDFS’ Commercial Finance business, and also houses employees representing Rider Services, Underwriting, Risk, Enterprise Project Management, Accounting, Compliance, Human Resources, Global Information Services, Communications, and Legal. Job Summary
The Capital Markets Analytics Manager role plays a critical role in Harley-Davidson Financial Services’ capital markets strategy, providing analytical leadership to support funding strategies, investor partnerships, and portfolio profitability.
The Capital Markets Analytics Manager reports to and partners closely with the VP of Capital Markets & Partnerships to evaluate funding economics, portfolio performance, and transaction structures to deliver insights that optimize profitability and support strategic growth.
The ideal candidate combines strong quantitative and advanced financial modeling capabilities with strong understanding of consumer lending economics, and an ownership mindset. This individual is highly proactive, comfortable operating independently, and able to translate complex analyses into clear, actionable recommendations that influence executive decision-making and institutional partnership strategy.
Job Responsibilities
Investor Pricing & Funding Economics
- Develop pricing analyses and recommendations supporting forward-flow transactions, institutional investor negotiations, and strategic funding decisions.
- Evaluate investor return requirements, funding costs, and transaction structures, and market conditions to optimize asset sale economics.
- Assess the impact of interest rate movements, capital markets conditions, and portfolio performance on investor pricing and funding strategies.
- Identify opportunities to improve profitability, execution, and scalability of funding programs and institutional partnerships.
- Evaluate new investor relationships, funding structures, and capital markets opportunities.
Consumer Pricing & Profitability Analytics
- Analyze consumer pricing competitiveness and profitability.
- Quantify financial impacts of APR and promotional pricing changes.
- Assess profitability trade-offs across volume, margin, and risk objectives.
- Provide data-driven recommendations supporting pricing governance and strategic pricing decisions.
- Translate capital markets economics into consumer pricing strategies.
Portfolio Performance & Structured Finance Analytics
- Develop and enhance portfolio cash flow, profitability, and performance models.
- Analyze key portfolio performance drivers, including credit losses, recoveries, prepayments, yield, and portfolio mix.
- Conduct scenario and sensitivity analyses to evaluate the impact of economic, interest rate, and performance assumptions.
- Monitor transaction performance, investor reporting metrics, eligibility, concentration limits, and covenant compliance.
- Identify emerging portfolio trends, risks, and opportunities impacting portfolio performance and profitability
- Support transaction structuring and ongoing performance evaluation through data-driven analyses.
Strategic Decision Support & Executive Reporting
- Develop and present analyses and recommendations supporting strategic capital markets, funding, and pricing decisions.
- Prepare executive and investor materials that communicate portfolio performance, transaction economics, and strategic opportunities.
- Support board, executive, and investor discussions through data-driven insights.
- Influence strategic decision-making through clear communication of complex analytical findings.
Cross-Functional Leadership & Process Improvement
- Partner with Treasury, Finance, Risk, Operations, Accounting, Legal, Strategy, and institutional investors.
- Lead analytical workstreams supporting strategic initiatives, leveraging known industry software and pricing tools
- Improve reporting automation and modeling capabilities.
- Serve as subject matter expert on portfolio economics and capital markets analytics
Education Requirements
Education Specifications
- MBA, CFA, or advanced degree preferred
Experience Requirements
Required
- 5-8+ years of experience in structured finance, capital markets, treasury, institutional portfolio management, consumer lending, or related financial services disciplines.
- 5+ years of experience providing strong financial modeling and analytical skills, including experience evaluating funding economics, portfolio performance, and pricing strategies.
- Experience analyzing loan portfolios, funding structures, forward-flow transactions, warehouse facilities, or asset-backed financing transactions.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, anticipate business needs, and drive analytical initiatives.
- Proven track record translating complex financial data into actionable business decisions for senior leadership.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Experience influencing executive-level decisions through actionable analytical insights and recommendations.
- Proficiency in handling large datasets and conducting ad-hoc analysis
- Knowledge of consumer lending economics, interest rate risk, portfolio performance metrics, and structured finance concepts.

- Remote initially; hybrid arrangement possible in the future
- Travel: 10%-25%
