The Harley-Davidson Motor Company Vehicle Operations facility in York is our final assembly plant. Employees at York also perform a variety of manufacturing operations, including fabrication, welding, polishing and painting and produce a wide range of current and replacement parts for all models. Join our team as a Finance Analyst - Hybrid (York, PA).
Job Summary
This position provides financial guidance and analytical support for York Vehicle Operations plant within Harley-Davidson. This position will help develop the cost of sales, including budgets and forecasts for assigned areas within the plant. It will also perform month end closing duties to include reporting, variance explanations and journal entries to accrue expenses, while partnering with the operations team. This position participates in special projects as required.
Job Responsibilities
- Month end closing duties to include variance analysis, journal entries to ensure all expense are recorded in the proper period, and account reconciliations
- Partners with operations leaders to manage department expenses and projects and distribute monthly performance reports
- Assist finance team in key metric tracking, including labor productivity, production performance and scrap
- Identify and communicate financial risk and opportunities for assigned areas
- Participates in special projects as needed.

- Bachelor’s degree Required
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field is Preferred
Experience Requirements
Required
- Minimum of 1 year of related work and/or public accounting experience.
- Demonstrated competency in the use of spreadsheets, tables, and accounting systems for the purpose of analysis and data gathering.
- Strong interpersonal skills and skills necessary to communicate with all levels of management.
- Self-motivated and continuously looking for process improvements
- Strong attention to detail while maintaining the broader, analytical perspective
- Excellent organizational skills – ability to balance multiple tasks and set priorities to meet deadlines.
