The Harley-Davidson Motor Company Vehicle Operations facility in York is our final assembly plant. Employees at York also perform a variety of manufacturing operations, including fabrication, welding, polishing and painting and produce a wide range of current and replacement parts for all models. Join our team as a Associate Industrial Engineer.
Job Summary
Works with stakeholders in plant operations to ensure facility efficiency and workplace safety. Demonstrates knowledge of basic industrial engineering concepts, practices and procedures including capacity planning, ergonomics analysis, method development, work standardization and material flow analysis.
Job Responsibilities
- Identify the level of human and capital assets required for given schedules and product mixes while maximizing workflow and floor space utilization.
- Demonstrate willingness to accomplish tasks through actively engaging work group members in identifying and resolving issues.
- Find ways to continuously improve processes and responsibilities pertaining to the position
- Prepare process documentation which conforms to Quality System standards.

Required
- Typically requires no previous professional experience.
Preferred
- Internship or Co-op experience in a manufacturing operations preferred
- Familiar with MTM-based standard data anasystems, capacity planning and manpower planning.
- Knowledge of PC applications such as AutoCAD and Microsoft Office

The pay range shown represents the national average pay range for this role. Your pay may be more or less than the stated range and is dependent on your geographic location and level of experience.
