• Develop foundational skills within the Materials Organization at Harley-Davidson, focusing on personal and professional development while promoting diversity and alignment with the organizational strategy.
• Gain experience within the areas listed below, but will also focus on building strong business acumen, personal leadership, project management skills and effective communication.
• Some of the different areas of Materials include the following: Product Development PurchasingSupply Base ManagementSupply Chain ManagementMaterial OperationsIndirect Procurement
• Working along with Harley-Davidson managers and leadership, co-ops will receive mentoring and additional development during their assignment.
• Build a network across the organization and experience the unique culture of Harley-Davidson.

Education Required
Actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree at an accredited college or university in Supply Chain, Business, Purchasing; Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering; cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale strongly preferred

Experience Required
We are looking for someone…
• Enrolled in a formal co-op program through the college or university
• Available to work a minimum of 40 hours/week during their co-op term
• Who can effectively communicate with strong interpersonal skills; understands how to develop and maintain external supplier and internal customer relationships Position Details: - This position will run from May 2018 – December 2018 - This position is located in the Milwaukee metro and surrounding area
