This full-time role is one of the Harley-Davidson in-field point-of contact for dealers in Quebec.  This individual is responsible for Harley-Davidson Canada performance including Motorcycle, General Merchandise, Parts & Accessories, Service, and Customer Experience performance within their district.  This position reports directly to the National Sales Manager; Canadian headquarters is located in Vaughan, Ontario.

Key responsibilities of this role include building and maintaining a trusting relationship with dealers, optimizing responsiveness to dealers, and increasing dealer profitability while ensuring achievement of company objectives. This individual will have the ability to view dealerships holistically and focus on the most critical areas of each dealership.  He/she will develop and execute strategic plans to improve Harley-Davidson representation and drive targeted performance and profitability within their defined market district while monitoring and supporting dealer performance against key business metrics.

Key Deliverables

•    Support the development and deliver the company’s business plan, while acting as a change agent with proven business acumen.
•    Provide consultancy to the dealers to enhance business value through increasing revenues and margins, improving productivity, and optimizing costs.
•    Achieve service excellence and customer loyalty by adding value to the dealer, making the dealer successful, and sustaining positive dealer relationships.
•    Analyze performance including progress against targets (sales, parts & accessories, general merchandise, market share, Return on Sales, marketing activities engagement, etc.) and suggest improvements for the business.
•    Provide constructive feedback and play an influencer role to drive improved Dealer performance.
•    Conduct monthly vehicle forecasting and quarterly territory/dealer plan reviews.
•    Drives targeted performance and associated profitability in a defined market area align with an overall market-level plan.
•    Operates with a clear understanding of all facets of dealership operations, core profit centres and Customer Experience, and utilizes resources that implement best practices that will be effective for dealer profitability.
•    Ensures dealers are operating with a sustainable business plan to meet their objectives.



•    Successful candidate must reside within Quebec in close proximity to Montreal.
•    Proficiency in both English and French is mandatory.
•    Bachelor’s Degree is highly preferred
•    Minimum of 8 years of related experience in field positions (sales and/or after sales), 
•    Exceptional written, presentation and oral communication skills, and ability to coordinate with all employee levels and work within a collaborative, fast paced and interactive team environment.
•    Strong understanding of financial measures, forecasting and other analytical skills is mandatory.
•    Strong understanding of inventory management practices and the ability to provide guidance on how to best apply the practices is required.
•    Demonstrated ability to assess dealership performance data and identify missed opportunities.
•    Ability to collaborate within a team while exercising independent judgment and initiative.
•    Highly self-motivated and directed. Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and be flexible in working on multiple projects simultaneously.
•    Ability to determine urgency and act upon it in a meaningful and practical way.
•    Ability to influence without direct authority.
•    Experience working in a global, matrix environment is considered an asset.
•    Fully proficient in Microsoft Office – Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook. Must be able to create / automate reports and tools to support the business.
•    Experience with Tableau is an asset.
•    Very adept at leveraging technology to be highly effective interacting virtually with dealers.
•    Ability to ride (preferred) or desire and willingness to learn to ride.
•    Must be capable of working flexible hours as required by the needs of the dealers.

Travel (up to 50%) is required for this position subject to Government legislation and Harley-Davidson Motor Company COVID guidelines.
