Job Summary

The Lead eCommerce will play a key role in driving eCommerce growth and profitability with responsibilities for supporting the eCommerce team with analytical expertise and executional leadership. This is accomplished by utilizing proven knowledge of financial and operating strategies in areas that include business model design, marketing activation, business analysis (sales and cost drivers), and replicatable business processes (inventory management, logistics, etc) to achieve overall business objectives.

Job Responsibilities

eCommerce

  • Leads analysis and reporting of business trends with emphasis on pinpointing causal factors, recommending tactical opportunities to improve, and sharing learnings across the team.
  • Leads business financial planning including analysis, forecasting, and return on investment measurement for business and technology initiatives.
  • Monitor site metrics, such as page load time, total numbers of site visitors, and visitors by product or page. Responsible for analyzing the information and recommending changes to improve performance.
  • Work with APAC team for yearly strategy and planning and keep track on a monthly basis.
  • Frequently communication and exchange with other APAC/US eCommerce colleagues on performance review, improvement actions and best practice sharing.
  • Work with local sales and marketing colleagues to create campaigns that improve search engine rankings, increase traffic to the site and strengthen customer loyalty.
  • Support ongoing improvements to digital content, creative and targeting of emails, ensuring optimal deliverability, open, and click rates.
  • Coordinate the relationship with 3rd party platformers to maximize the e-commerce sales.
  • Build and maintain vendor relationships (example: advertising agencies) to achieve the business goals, drive sales and increased market penetration.
  • Develop Local partnerships opportunities to broaden our potential.
  • Strategically plan product collections, inventory levels, replenishment to meet market demand and hit KPIs.

Digital Marketing, Customer Lead Management

  • Plan and execute all digital marketing, including Display, SEM, social media.
  • Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaign and analyze results against goals.
  • Develop and monitor campaign budgets.
  • Coordinate with advertising agency and media experts to run and improve marketing results
  • Work with marketing team to align on marketing priorities, motorcycle launch timing and brainstorm on new and innovative growth strategies.
  • Work closely with creative agencies to create digital ad assets that communicate our brand message and campaign details
  • Manage all Gold leads and monitor conversions in order to meet Gold leads goals and set motorcycle conversion goals.
  • Manage all microsite to make sure they are all following the brand guidelines.

  

Education Requirements

Bachelor's Degree Required

Experience Requirements / Desired Competence

Required

  • Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience
  • Experience with Microsoft Office; particularly Excel and PowerPoint
  • Background and expertise in managing and working within data warehouses (POS, Syndicated data, etc.)
  • Background experience working with Ecommerce retail partners & analytics tied to Ecommerce marketing channels (SEO, OOS, conversion metrics, etc)
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a constantly changing environment
  • Analytical capability that enables leading/coaching/teaching of others
  • Merchandising, accounting, and/or business experience a plus
  • A team player
  • Passion to learn new things, motorcycle enthusiast or riders preferred
  • Proficiency in English as well as the local language
  • Business Acumen and agility with business decisions
  • Self-starter in an international environment
  • Desire to know Harley-Davidson's company, product, and operations
