Job Summary

The Marketing Lead is the subject matter expert for marketing activities related to Public Relations, Events, and Brand Engagement across key business areas including Parts & Accessories, General Merchandise, and Motorcycles. This role is central to leading the execution of approved marketing strategies, with a strong focus on event planning, media relations, and customer experience initiatives that elevate brand presence and drive consumer engagement.

The Marketing Lead collaborates closely with local and regional stakeholders to ensure alignment and integration of marketing efforts, optimizing the impact of campaigns and assets across multi-channel platforms. The role is instrumental in delivering high-impact events, managing external communications, and creating memorable brand experiences for consumers and HOG members.

 

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning and execution of high-impact consumer and HOG events, ensuring alignment with brand strategy and delivering exceptional experiences.
  • Manage public relations activities, including media outreach, press releases, and coordination with PR agencies to enhance brand visibility and reputation.
  • Oversee the marketing budget for assigned areas, ensuring effective allocation of resources to maximize ROI.
  • Promote positive consumer, chapter, events and HOG member relationships through management of Customer Experience programs.
  • Negotiates contracts with vendors and suppliers to meet the requirements of all aspects of consumer and HOG events and programs.
  • Works with Lead of Retail Marketing and other stakeholders to deliver marketing for related promotions and support for overall customer experience & HOG operation.
  • Develop and implement customer experience initiatives, with a focus on engaging Outreach consumers and strengthening brand loyalty.
  • Partner with Retail Marketing and Sales teams to align promotional efforts and enhance the overall customer journey.
  • Monitor and analyze customer feedback, market trends, and competitive activity to inform strategic decisions and continuous improvement.
  • Champion innovative approaches to brand engagement, ensuring Harley-Davidson remains relevant and resonant with diverse consumer segments. 

Education Requirements

High School Diploma or Equivalent Required

Education Specifications

Bachelor's Degree in relevant fields preferred

Experience Requirements

Required

  • This job typically requires a minimum of 6-8 years of related experience.
  • Strong proficiency in English is required to effectively liaise with regional stakeholders.
  • Possesses a strong internal and external customer focus.
  • Experience in high volume project planning and complex problem solving.
  • Excellent facilitation, presentation, and written communication skills.

 

Preferred

  • Experience working with motorcycles.
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite.
