Job Summary

This position will lead EMEA (Europe, Middle East, Africa) region logistics operations for Motorcycles, Parts & Accessories, and Apparel & Licensing. This person will work cross-functionally to establish the systems and processes necessary to support the region as well as drive continuous improvement initiatives. This role is the subject matter expert as it relates to logistics processes for the region (inbound, outbound, export, 3PL management, transportation and warehousing).  This role will be based in the Netherlands but will require frequent travel (100 days/year) to our distribution center located in Houthalen-Helchteren, Belgium.

Job Responsibilities

•    Collaborate with commercial teams to attain overall business objectives for the region
•    Source, manage, and implement external contracts with third party logistics providers and carriers
•    Manage the external relationships and service level agreements with our third-party logistics providers partners for both warehousing and transportation
•    Drive continuous improvement and cost productivity initiative
•    Lead large-scale projects related to logistics
•    Design, establish and manage key performance indicators (Key Performance Indicators) in a manner that is consistent across the company
•    Owns process governance for Logistics (health of process, adherence to process and process improvement)
•    Coordinate with other functions, including Order Management and Demand/Supply Planning, to ensure customer service levels are being met and issues are being resolved in a timely manner

Experience Requirements

Required
•    Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of related experience.
•    3PL and carrier management experience with track record of performance improvement    
•    Ability to both think strategically and execute tactically
•    Experience with developing or managing budgets
•    Effective communication, collaboration, negotiation, leadership, coaching, mentoring and facilitation skills
•    Excellent problem solving, analytical, and technical skills.
•    Demonstrated success leading large scale projects including contract negotiation and RFQ development
•    Fluent English is required and another European Language desirable.

Preferred
•    Experience in both warehousing and transportation
•    Excellent SAP and Microsoft Excel skills.
•    Experience managing multi-million-dollar third-party logistics operations and projects.
•    Knowledge and experience with apparel/textiles, vehicles, and aftermarket service parts industries is strongly preferred.
