HDFS’ Reno, Nevada office serves as one of the Company's two operations centers. HDFS first established its roots in 1992 in Nevada. It is also home to Eaglemark Savings Bank, the Company’s lending institution, where all loans are funded. Reno employees represent the loan origination and servicing business units including Collections, Funding, Underwriting, Dealer Services, and HDFS’ Cycle Insurance business unit. There are also employees who work in Accounting, Legal, Global Information Services, Risk, Enterprise Project Management, and Compliance who call this office home. Job Summary

Under direct supervision the Titles Representative I is responsible for ensuring that the liens on all loans financed with Harley-Davidson Financial Services are perfected and released properly in favor of Eaglemark Savings Bank and/or It’s Assigns, customer and or third-party within 9 days of payoff. The Titles Representative I handles basic title related transactional needs of our business partners and customers with accuracy, quality, and an unsurpassed level of customer service. They also must have the ability to make basic decisions within organizational guidelines. 

Job Responsibilities

 

  • Conducts basic and routine analysis to be used in decision-making to ensure that liens on all loans are perfected and released properly
  • Under direct supervision gains a basic knowledge of state and dealer title processes and regulations
  • Onsite Reps must support the office duties as assigned. Including filing, storage, scanning, noting, and emailing the legal documentations, subpoenas, and other mail documents to the appropriate stakeholders within 24-48 hours of receipt
  • Under direct supervision interacts via written and verbal correspondence with dealers, customers, third party vendors, and state titling agencies (i.e. DMV, County Clerk etc.)
  • Enters proof of payoff entry, queues, and other tasks with Titles Reps II within 9 business days or receipt with quality and accuracy in mind
  • Assists other Internal stakeholders on basic title related issues to learn all stakeholder impacts to the Title team
  • Verifies and sorts the mail, supporting documentation, validates information from the original funding package, state websites and our vendors
  • Handles basic and routine phone calls to and from business partners and customers to verify and resolve outstanding liens/titles
  • Responsible for accurately updating account payoff information
  • Uses effective time management and ensures the dealer and rider experiences meet expectations
  • Maintains a current awareness and understanding of appropriate banking laws, title laws and regulations, internal policies, and procedures, and to comply fully with those laws, regulations, policies, and procedures
  • Meet individual performance metrics (Title QA of 90%, AHT 6:00 mins or less, low BPS, availability of 85%)

Education Requirements

High School Diploma or Equivalent Required

Education Specifications

  • Experience with Microsoft Office and general computer knowledge
