Job Summary:
Harley Davidson is looking for a motivated Product Planner for Apparel & Licensing. This candidate will partner with the merchandising team to drive success by providing insights and analysis into detail planning KPI’s. They will support in developing and executing a strategic vision with a sharp focus on the consumer. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, analytical, a self-starter, and works well in a team environment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Create and revise merchandising financial plans that support the merchandising strategies and financial objectives.
- Provide analysis and research to support the creation of the global product assortment while partnering with merchandising and all cross-functional partners.
- Monitor performance to sales, inventory, and margin targets. Performs independent analysis and recommends courses of action to drive profitability in season through weekly and monthly hind sighting reporting.
- Prepare financial scenarios and ad-hoc analysis.
- Conduct detailed monthly and quarterly hindsight analysis and present findings, collaborate with merchandising and cross-functional teams on a go-forward strategy based on findings.
- Prepares and participates in Merchandise Review meetings.
- Collaborates closely and builds trust among cross-functional partners to drive desired results.
Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
Experience Requirements
Required
- Typically requires a minimum of 3 years of related experience.
- Self-motivated, with attention to detail and deadlines.
- Proficient in navigating data and data analysis.
- High level of experience and proficiency in Excel
- Mathematical proficiency with strong business and financial acumen
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Flexible and adaptive to changing priorities, ability to organize and prioritize workload to meet deadlines
- Ability to work independently on simultaneous projects in a fast-paced environment
- Strong sense of teamwork to coordinate with many cross-functional partners
Preferred
- Expertise in merchandise categories
- Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills partnered with strong interpersonal skills

The pay range shown represents the national average pay range for this role. Your pay may be more or less than the stated range and is dependent on your geographic location and level of experience.
