Job Summary

This position is an exciting opportunity to provide financial and analytical support for a diverse range of financial projects to support to LiveWire’s EMEA operations. The EMEA Lead Financial Analyst, will help develop and complete critical steps in the Company’s internal and external financial reporting process and various accounting processes. In fulfilling these responsibilities, this individual will be required to work effectively with professionals at all levels of the organization and to collaborate with individuals across functional and geographic areas. Reporting to the Director of Finance EMEA, this role will be key to developing the financial reporting and accounting processes for the newly formed EMEA Entities.

Job Responsibilities


•    Lead the month end closing process for all 5 EMEA entities, including revenue recognition activities, balance sheet reconciliations and P&L reviews.
•    Approving AP Invoices and travel expense processing.
•    Preparing Intercompany Recharges.
•    Managing fixed asset accounting and Company Owned Vehicle Register.
•    Reviewing Payroll submissions, managing payments, and related journal bookings.
•    Prepare and review VAT, EC Sales Lists & Intrastat returns.
•    Prepare monthly Cashflow forecasts.
•    Support the Budget and reforecast process.
•    Support the EMEA Entities external financial reporting and corporate tax return process.
•    Support continuous improvement by reviewing current processes and helping to suggest areas of improvement to facilitate more efficient processes.
•    Perform analysis and special projects, as required.
•    Assist in the annual audits and quarterly review activities of external auditors.
•    Provide training and guidance to junior accounting staff on technical accounting matters.
 

Education Requirements

Bachelor's Degree Required

Education Specifications

•   Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting is preferred. CIMA/ACCA or equivalent is required. US GAAP experience is desirable.

Experience Requirements

Experience Required

•    Minimum 5 years relevant company experience
•    English plus additional European Language – Dutch and/or German.
•    Experience with VAT Reporting 
•    Strong knowledge of IFRS
•    Requires good written and verbal communication skills
•    Strong organizational skills, with ability to self-motivate and successfully work on multiple projects.
•    Experience with Microsoft Office Applications
•    Experience supervising junior accounting staff

 

Preferred
•    Experience with a large ERP system (Microsoft Dynamics, etc.)
