Job Summary


This position is responsible for completing the design, configuration, and implementation governance of technical solutions across multiple global functional business areas as related to the ERP SAP Record to Report (RTR-Financial Systems) space. This role provides effective solution designs to meet system strategies, capabilities, and technologies, to respond to current and future business requirements. Ensure that solutions are integrated end-to-end and that the necessary integration testing occurs to validate a solution and its touchpoints to ensure the technology meets stated Service Level Agreements and Key Performance Indicators.  

Job Responsibilities

 

  • Complete technical designs for information systems, ranging from high-level conceptual designs to detailed technical specifications.  
  • Complete technical, infrastructure, and application efforts and initiatives. 
  • Execute system/application installation, patching, rollouts, releases, and upgrades ensuring technical standards and strategies are being followed.  
  • Perform quality assurance reviews of technical specifications produced by external resources contributing to H-D technology projects and perform quality assurance reviews of the work product of developers to ensure compliance with the design specifications.  
  • Recommend design changes to production systems in response to changing business process, capacity, risks, and performance requirements.  
  • Periodically review technology foundation to develop lifecycle roadmaps for them.  
  • Contribute to the prioritization of technology problems and enhancement requests.  
  • Provide consulting and support services to identify technology system’s operational, monitoring, and reporting requirements.

Bachelor's Degree Preferred

Education Specifications

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Business Administration, Information Systems is preferred. Advanced degree a plus

Experience Requirements

 

Required

 

  • Requires a minimum of 3 years of experience working in SAP under the FICO module and some integration knowledge of other SAP modules, preferably SD/MM. 
  • Should have at least 1 full life cycle implementation or global roll-out project experience using waterfall or agile methodolgy.
  • Strong troubleshooting and technical experience within the SAP landscape.
  • Must be a self-starter with the ability to succeed in small teams.
  • Ability to work directly with business leaders and stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them to functional specifications and provide effective solutions. 
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills (MS tools). 
  • Experience coordinating design activities and deliverables across a technology project or program.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP development tools, transport management processes, and migration thru the SAP landscape, SAP FICO configuration, and 3rd party integrations.
  • Ability to work independently with significant interaction with the business leaders and central IT organization.
     

Preferred

 

  • Experience working with SD or MM modules
  • Work experience in SAP application in the automotive industry a plus 
  • SAP FICO certification
