This Hybrid role is not tightly linked to a physical location in the UK and provides flexibility in where, when and how you accomplish your work.

Job Summary

This position provides finance guidance, reporting and analytical support for EMEA Consolidations Team. It will be responsible for budgeting, forecasting and monthly reporting of gross margin (revenue and cost of sales) for the Motorcycle and Related Products businesses, as well as provide insights and analytics to influence revenue and margin performance. This position will also assist in executing pricing loads in SAP, consolidating and reporting against contra revenue (dealer rewards programme and discounting) and supporting ad-hoc analytical requests.

Job Responsibilities

•    Month-end requirements: Logistics accruals, intercompany reclasses and ad-hoc provisions as required, preparation of reporting, including P&L retrieves, preparation of close deck and  providing narrative on key revenue and COS lines
•    Owning master data on pricing, loading pricing conditions into SAP and generally owning execution of motorcycle pricing
•    Co-ordinate and assist in preparation of budgets and forecasts for revenue, local cost of sales and logistics expenses
•    Assistance in consolidation of financial commentary received on commercial performance, variance analysis and scenario planning for the entire EMEA region, helping to provide a consolidated view and explanation to US Corporate
•    Cultivates finance/business relationships, which includes learning the business, responding to evolving priorities and understanding the impacts of decisions on key stakeholders
•    Assisting with interim and year end audit work as required
•    Continuous improvement of existing processes and key role in development of short term forecasting on a rolling basis, tracking sales expectations and COS assumptions.

Education Requirements

High School Diploma or Equivalent Required

Education Specifications

A Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is desired.

Qualified or part qualified in ACA, ACCA or CIMA or other relevant accountancy qualification

 

 

Experience Requirements

Required: 
• The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years related work experience in Finance 
• Competency in the use of spreadsheets and accounting systems for the purpose of analysis and financial modelling. 
• Self-motivated and a self-starter continuously looking for process improvements 
• Strong attention to detail while maintaining the broader, analytical perspective; and excellent organisational skills with the ability to balance multiple tasks under time constraints 

Preferred: 
• Experience with SAP ERP system is a plus.
