This Hybrid role is not tightly linked to a physical location in the UK and provides flexibility in where, when and how you accomplish your work.

Job Summary

The Credit Analyst is responsible for taking steps to control the credit risks involved with releasing product to a franchised dealer network. This is achieved through close working relations with internal and external stakeholders working to pre-defined policies and procedures which clearly mark out authority levels and integrating resources with the close management of complex areas. Identifying problem, solving issues and making recommendations, where appropriate. It is the responsibility of a Credit Analyst to make management aware of any significant changes in the relationship or operations of any dealer, escalating any issues which they are made aware of by a 3rd party or that become apparent as part of daily operations. The role will support the Credit Environment and as a result of this will from time to time may be required to support the Credit Underwriting Team

Job Responsibilities

 

Collections: Performance: Maintain past due position in line with agreed targets; Communication follow-ups to be performed and logged within appropriate systems in line with activity work lists; Sold Motorcycles to be paid in line with operating criteria; Escalation of poor performing dealers where risks are considered high; management of payment plans.


Stock Management:  Where appropriate Inventory inspections to be performed in line with agreed floor inspection cycle applying judgment and making independent decisions with broadly defined guidelines; Where appropriate Floor Check data to be reviewed and maintained daily.


Reporting: Key performance indicators for market to be produced periodically including but not limited to: Past Due Performance, Legal Instrument Analysis, Credit Limit Sign Off (on the water).


Cash Processing:  Cash to be posted within 24 hours of receipt; All cash to be allocated at the end of each month where allocation detail permits; Perform Bank Reconciliations; Manage the set up and Testing of new direct debit mandates.


System Maintenance: Customer Master Data set up and maintenance is an important part of the Credit function and must be performed on a timely basis in line with corporate policy and across all required systems.


Projects:  Assist on projects as and when required.

Education Specifications

Finance, Economics or related Degree Preferred.

Experience Requirements

Required


•    Fluent in both English and French
•    Minimum 1 year of related experience.
•    Ability to operate in an International environment.
•    Strong communication skills, written and verbal as well as high levels of cultural awareness.
•    Ability to interact with all levels of company leadership and colleagues.
•    Good working knowledge of MS Excel, Word and Outlook.


Preferred


•    Member of the CICM, ICTF, FECMA or similar Credit Management institutions.
•    Experience with Export Credit.
•    Working knowledge of SAP
•    Fluency in German would be an advantage.
