This remote role is not tightly linked to a physical location and provides flexibility in where, when and how you accomplish your work.
Job Summary
The Senior Developer Mobile Applications role will own the entire iOS experience - from technical leadership to UI/UX to integrating the latest technology with the backend components. The tech stack will vary with the projects - but range from Objective-C or Swift.
Job Responsibilities
- Design and build advanced mobile applications platform
- Lead the design and development of innovative solutions for both technical and business problems
- Participate in code reviews, write automated tests, and help define the technical roadmap
- Collaborate with the team to define, design, and ship new features
Education Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree Preferred
Experience Requirements
- 5 years of experience working in software engineering in a professional setting
- 4+ years of experience in application development
- Proficient with Objective-C or Swift
- Experience with iOS frameworks such as Core Data, Core Animation
- Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect iOS applications to back-end services
- Knowledge of other web technologies and UI/UX standards
- Understanding of Apple’s design principles and interface guidelines
- Knowledge of low-level C-based libraries is preferred
