The Harley-Davidson Motor Company Corporate Headquarters in Milwaukee, WI is the site where the first H-D factory - a wooden shed - was built in 1903 in the backyard of the William C. Davidson family home. Join our team as a Senior System Administrator.

Job Summary

This position is a critical component of the Company’s technical support for Indirect Procurement (IP) business processes and the Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) System. The role will provide project management and business analysis expertise to understand complex business needs and design effective solutions and successfully implement them. This role serves as the technical expert for consulting with stakeholders and provide end user support.  Leads system implementation projects, developing system designs, project plans and testing. Consults with stakeholder groups (IP, Legal, Information Technology (IT) and Vendor) to analyze complex business processes and needs, identify root cause issues, design system and process solutions that will deliver the desired value while minimizing complexity and support costs. Serves as a liaison to IT to facilitate collaboration on design, implementation, maintenance, and enhancement efforts. 

Job Responsibilities

Operational Support

  • Manage system configuration, contracting templates and processes and maintenance of the CLM system (Icertis).  
  • Troubleshoot and resolve end user technical support issues with the support of IT and Vendor. 
  • Develop and maintain process documentation, controls and quality standards.  
  • Facilitates user training and assist in developing training materials.
  • Manage the company’s templates, playbook terms, and clause libraries for its commercial contracts with customers, partners and suppliers.
  • Continuously improve processes to reduce complexity, improve efficiencies and reduce costs.

Systems Analysis and Design

  • Works with IT and business stakeholders to analyze, design and implement complex business processes and system solutions, including software selection projects, development of new systems, enhancements and upgrades to existing systems and integrations with other systems. 
  • Ensures that systems incorporate adequate controls to ensure appropriate separation of duty, failure detection, and ongoing accuracy. 
  • Monitors and analyzes business processes and leads initiatives to optimize business processes and the value of our systems. 
  • Responsible for problem solving incidents or system related issues along with identifying and testing solutions. 
  • Works with IP, other stakeholders, and vendor to address complex changes to system configuration, master data, or security design.

Agile Project Management

  • Apply agile project management methodology to prioritize and complete the work (design, configuration, testing, etc.)
  • Participate on scrum team and assist with leading a scrum team in using Agile methodology and scrum practices. 


  • Ability to learn different processes in order to deliver system administration and configuration for stakeholders.  
  • Knowledge of Contract Lifecycle Management with exposure to commercial agreements, legal terms and conditions is preferred.  
  • Ability to work independently, balance many priorities, and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Capability to anticipate needs and see connection points between people, processes, and technology.
  • Prior experience in Agile Methodology or project management.
  • Must possess the ability to link system solutions to business value and strategy.
  • Must be a collaborative team player, have excellent verbal and written communication skills, and have the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • Analytical experience collecting, organizing, analyzing and disseminating significant amount of information with attention to detail. 

Education Requirements

Bachelor's Degree Preferred

Education Specifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Information Systems or similar is preferred.

Experience Requirements


  • Typically requires a minimum of 3 years of related technical and system administration experience and prefer at least 2 years of practical experience in CLM Software and Procurement business processes.  
  • Knowledge and application of agile methodology preferred.
