The Harley-Davidson Motor Company Corporate Headquarters in Milwaukee, WI is the site where the first H-D factory - a wooden shed - was built in 1903 in the backyard of the William C. Davidson family home. Join our team as a Apparel Quality Assurance.

Job Summary

The Product Quality Analyst position plays a critical role on the team to proactively inform the organization on Quality Performance results and create visibility to development and warranty issues and trends. The central focus is to identify whether products are functional, reliable and meet the end user’s expectations based on Harley-Davidson quality standards. 
The central focus is to provide accurate reports and timely communication regarding the quality requirements and strategy.

Job Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate working knowledge and experience in Apparel fabric, garment manufacturing and embellishment and finishing techniques.
  • Manage evaluation of pre-production and/or top of production (TOP) sample review for motorcycle riding gear and apparel product ensuring results are communicated to suppliers.
  • Display awareness of certification process related to personal protective equipment (PPE) in motorcycle riding gear and helmets. 
  • Manage and collaborate cross functionally with all stakeholders, internally and externally to ensure adherence of quality and design standards are fully met for motorcycle apparel and accessories from the development process through consumer end-use.
  • Demonstrate working knowledge and experience in fabric textiles, apparel manufacturing, certification of personal protective equipment (PPE) in motorcycle riding gear and helmets. 
  • Manage pre-production and/or TOP review for all Functional Riding gear product and communicate results to suppliers
  • Monitor and ensure suppliers submit approved labeling information and garment inspection reports based on production and calendar timelines.
  • Lead reporting, tracking and resolution of warranty issues and analysis for domestic and international markets.
  • Effectively communicate and present complex information regarding quality performance and standards to stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate skill in creating, executing, monitoring and prioritizing quality and KPI data.
  • Ability to address quality related issues and provide solutions using both creative processes and analytical methods.
  • Demonstrates knowledge and experience in the use of advanced quality tools and techniques.
  • Managing expectations and timelines of multiple development cycles -Strong ability to use Outlook, Excel and Powerpoint, FlexPLM

  • Typically requires a minimum of 3 years of related experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to plan, prioritize and manage multiple projects effectively.


  • Experience in the use of statistical and data manipulation techniques, Weibull Analysis preferred.
