Job Summary

Last year we unveiled More Roads to Harley-Davidson – an accelerated strategy to build the next generation of riders globally. Alongside our existing loyal riders, we will lead the next revolution of two-wheeled freedom to inspire future riders who have yet to even think about the thrill of riding.

 

This is an ambitious undertaking which will require us to staying true to what has made Harley-Davidson a brand that evokes passion and emotion in so many and introduce ourselves to new consumers in new places. To support this new global growth strategy, we are investing in a new Precision Marketing team which will be responsible for building and implementing our targeted marketing strategies.

 

We are currently accepting applications for Senior A/B Testing roles. You will help the Motor Company leverage analytics to drive relevant, impactful marketing campaigns in the US and international markets. You will also have an opportunity to help create architecture which will help us generate, mine, and use analytic tools to create personalized, inclusive experiences.

Job Responsibilities

Develops and implements A/B & Multivariate testing strategies for our Marketing functions.

  • Analyze 1st & 3rd party data to determine and prioritize testing and optimization use cases.
  • Working knowledge of A/B testing platforms/capabilities and utilizes sound testing, targeting and measurement principles.
  • Monitor test roadmap, test schedule, in-flight tests, and provides recommendations to marketing team.
  • Provide detailed explanation of variants in test, definition of KPIs in analysis, and overall expectations to stakeholders & leaders.
  • Analyze results during test as well as final analysis, which will require an in-depth understanding of company KPIs and translate results to actionable insights.
  • Develop measurement methodology for each marketing channel, creating automation and efficiencies where possible
  • Lead discovery analytics work to identify new testing or measurement opportunities
  • Promote culture of testing and optimization within department and across the Motor Company.

Education Specifications

A Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is strongly desired.

Experience Requirements

Eight years related work experience, ideally with five years of AB/multivariate testing experience, is typically required. If selected for an interview, please be prepared to demonstrate your competency in the following areas:

  • Strong knowledge of A/B testing platforms (Adobe Target preferred)
  • Experience with CRM data as well as customer targeting/segmentation and measurement
  • High acumen within statistics and/or data engineering
  • Excellent analytical skills with an ability to translate data into actionable insights
  • Experience with digital analytics platforms & coding – SQL, Tableau, Domo, etc.
