Harley-Davidson Motor Company is headquartered in Milwaukee, WI, where the first H-D factory was built in 1903 - a wooden shed in the backyard of the Davidson's family home. Our onsite and hybrid Milwaukee area employees work out of the Harley-Davidson Product Development Center located just outside of the city - in Wauwatosa. Job Summary

This position is responsible for the successful execution of large-scale, high-impact facilities construction and renovation projects.  This includes the planning and development of project solutions and coordination with internal H-D and external resources, design professionals, and officials. This position will facilitate and oversee project-related activities and serve as the central point of contact for day-to-day project support, contractor engagement, and coordination with building operations and other H-D business resources.

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead all aspects of multiple large-scale construction projects, from inception through project close out.
  • Responsible for engagement and oversight of all project requirements, design professionals, and construction vendors/contractors.
  • Responsible for the progress and achievement of objectives related to cost, schedule, scope and risk for managed projects in support of short-term and long-term objectives of the business. Gather and evaluate information and stakeholder feedback so that the facility and its systems are configured to adequately support programmed use and that solutions are cost effective and support business objectives.
  • Work with a variety of internal and external stakeholders to understand their unique needs and demonstrate good prioritization and time management, continuous follow-up (communication), and a sense of urgency to meet project requirements. Interface and collaborate with stakeholders to develop robust project solutions and comprehensive project implementation plans. Demonstrate an awareness of the various environments in which work needs to be performed and how to perform work within those environments.
  • Ensure that all work that impacts visitors, employees, tenants, and contractors is performed safely, in compliance with established safety policies and practices, and with minimal site disruption. Ensure that regulatory and OSHA requirements are maintained and hazards are identified and corrected in proactive manner.
  • Provide support for development of tenant leases and ongoing property management considerations related to construction projects, space renovations, and tenant improvements.

Education Requirements

High School Diploma or Equivalent Required

Education Specifications

  • Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Architectural Engineering, Facility Management, Business, Engineering, Operations, or related field.

Experience Requirements

  • A minimum of 5 years of related experience
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in construction project management, facilities management, or property management.
  • Demonstrated ability to understand the cause and effect relationship of building systems and operations.
  • Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems, building architectural systems, and site civil systems.
  • Ability to utilize AutoCAD to interpret drawings and create floor plans.
  • Ability to apply process measurement and management.
  • Be able to demonstrate problem solving and project management methodologies.
  • Self-motivated, detail oriented, and teamwork minded.

The pay range shown represents the national average pay range for this role. Your pay may be more or less than the stated range and is dependent on your geographic location and level of experience.
