Job Summary

 

The Lead Financial Analyst is a critical role within our Motorcycle Management team.  The Motorcyle Management team which has overall responsibility for developing our innovative and exciting Harley-Davidson product portfolios.  As a Lead Financial Analyst you will be responsible for providing financial insights into what our current and  future product plans will look like.  You will develop a data driven financial perspective on how to grow the Harley-Davidson Product portfolio through maximizing investments as well as developing recommendations that maximize return on investment.  The financial insights you provide to various departments and stakeholders are critical to Motocycle Management teams success.

Job Responsibilities

•    Developing and delivering an optimized multi-year, multi-geography, full portfolio product plan and accompanying process for introduction, retirement, and ‘benching’ of families, models, or variants
•    Develop and deploy an end-to-end financial view of maximizing ROI for launch investments, including product, resources, marketing, and dealer investments.
•    Develop financial modeling and scenario planning for the motorcylce lifecycle plan
•    Developing forums to effectively integrate the voice of dealers, consumers, and H-D peers in marketing, engineering, design, in lifecycle planning.
•    Working with portfolio managers to build out new portfolio opportunities (including providing requirements to Engineering and Styling & Design for how to execute) and how to deactivate or retire the existing product.
•    Work as an ‘honest broker’ with internal cross-functional stakeholders to resolve conflict and ensure launch and plans are collaborative, obtainable, and communicated effectively.
 

Education Specifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance (or related field) required. 

Experience Requirements

The successful candidate will ideally have a minimum of 8 years related financial  analysis experience.  We are looking for a unique invidual who has strong communication and collaboration skills as the successful individual will interact with various statekholders on our product plans. In addition we are looking for an individual with:
