Our Powertrain Operations facility, located on Pilgrim Road in Menomonee Falls, WI, is where the “jewel” of the motorcycle comes to life. Pilgrim Road employees produce engines and transmissions for the final assembly plant in York, Pennsylvania, as well as transmissions, and replacement parts for sale through Harley-Davidson® Genuine Motor Parts and Accessories business. Job Summary

This position is responsible for supporting supply chain operations at our Harley-Davidson Powertrain Operations facility to ensure the uninterrupted flow of materials to meet manufacturing and customer demand. The role focuses on material planning, supplier collaboration, inventory management, and supply continuity by executing supply chain activities that drive operational excellence. The position will monitor and improve key performance indicators including on time delivery, schedule adherence, past due deliveries, while partnering closely with Manufacturing, Operations, Logistics, Engineering, and Suppliers to resolve issues and mitigate supply risks. This role serves as a critical link between suppliers and manufacturing operations to ensure on-time production and customer fulfillment.

 


Job Responsibilities

 

  • Demonstrates foundational knowledge of Supply Chain Operations through education, internships, or related experience.
  • Supports the planning and execution of material flow to ensure supply availability and production continuity.
  • Monitors supplier delivery performance, identifies risks, and drives corrective actions to prevent disruptions to operations.
  • Executes supply chain processes including demand fulfillment, inventory management, material planning, supplier scheduling, and shortage management.
  • Analyzes inventory, demand, and supplier performance data to identify opportunities for improved service, efficiency, and inventory optimization.
  • Collaborates cross-functionally with Manufacturing, Logistics, Operations, Quality, and Engineering to resolve material and supply chain challenges.
  • Utilizes standard supply chain processes and tools to solve operational issues, support production requirements, and achieve business objectives.
  • Supports change management activities including engineering changes, new product introductions, and supplier transitions.
  • Proactively escalates supply risks and develops recovery plans to minimize impacts to production schedules and customer commitments.
  • Drives continuous improvement initiatives focused on service levels, inventory health, material availability, and operational efficiency.
  • Maintains accurate system data related to material planning, supplier schedules, inventory parameters, and supply chain performance metrics.
  • Takes ownership of assigned responsibilities and contributes to achieving team and business performance goals.

 

 


Education Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
  • Bachelor's Degree Preferred


    Education Specifications

 

  • Degree or certificate in Supply Chain Management Preferred


Experience Requirements

 

Required:

 

  • Typically requires 0-3 years of related experience
  • Fundamental knowledge of Supply Chain Management and understanding of functions such as Purchasing,
  • Willingness and skills to work effectively within a group and / or team.

 

Preferred:

 

  • Experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Motorcycle riding experience and knowledge in Harley-Davidson motorcycles and accessories.

 

 

 

The pay range shown represents the national average pay range for this role. Your pay may be more or less than the stated range and is dependent on your geographic location and level of experience.
