For our DACH region we are searching for a passionate and experienced Marketing Professional who will lead all marketing activities for Germany, Switzerland and Austria based in our regional office in Frankfurt/Main. This role can be based anywhere in the region, and will have occasional office visits in Frankfurt.
Job Summary
Reporting directly to the VP EMEA and dotted line into the EMEA Marketing Director, the Manager will lead marketing efforts for our largest market in the region. The Manager Marketing (DACH) is responsible for ensuring market share goals are achieved and that our share of the +600cc market continues to develop as we drive towards market leadership. This leader works to maintain brand health, delivery of strategic and tactical marketing campaigns, digital work, Social, PR, and events for both Motorcycles, Parts, Accessories & Merchandise, After Sales and Harley-Davidson Financial Services. The Manager Marketing will work in a highly matrixed environment and work closely with Sales teams within the market. We are looking for an accomplished collaborator and communicator who can appropriately influence at all levels.
Job Responsibilities
- Resonsible for all marketing channels in DACH, including campaigns, media, digital, social, PR & events. Marketing budget management
- Patnering with regional marketing on product launches and campaigns that maximize coverage, create demand, and drive market share with clear metrics
- Lead performance marketing activities including lead generation targets & KPIs
- Manage marketing agency relationships & seek opportunities for improved performance
- Partner closely with Sales to drive commercial goals. Develop dealer marketing communications materials
- Manage and enable a Marketing team to work effectively & collaboratively, by developing the necessary leadership behaviors, skill sets, & differentiating capabilities
- Responsible for strengthening the brand and leading the development of the local marketing strategy
Education Requirements
Experience Requirements
- Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of marketing experience. Regional marketing experience preferred
- Experience across marketing channels preferred
- Experience with a retailer, franchise, or dealer network preferred
- Ability to manage and influence mulitple stakesholder groups. Effectively navigates at various levels of the organization to acknowledge and balance strategies, directions & priorities
- Ability to identify and drive work that aligns overall corporate vision and market goals, while considering the most effective means of addressing dealer needs
- A hands on leader who builds trust, cross-fucnational team, leads through change and leads by example. Ability to prioritize work, & proactively address opportunities at the market-level
- A holistic view of the retail business and enterprise operations, which enables effective decision-making
