Job Summary

This is a key position sitting in AEM HQ supporting the region in providing financial support and insights to the commercial team.  Key deliverables include maintaining financial reports, providing financial analysis and driving the financial forecasting together with the rest of the team. This position will be working closely with the AEM Commercial team, APAC FP&A team and AEM/RHQ accounting team to discharge the responsibilities.

Job Responsibilities

  • Providing quality commentaries and insights to actuals and forecast in a timely manner highlighting any risks/gaps to achieving expected financial results.
  • Responsible for supporting sales function in pricing of products by providing/verifying the best cost estimates and margin analysis including updating of DNP [Dealer Net Price] in SAP system
  • Maintaining and controlling contra revenue programs [VIP, Promo, Demo] by working with commercial teams to understand the rationale and mechanism of each program and communicating these treatments to the accounting team to ensure correct accounting treatment during month-end
  • Supporting commercial team in credit control and analysis
  • Supporting FCR reviews
  • Providing cashflow analysis
  • Develop and maintaining databases/reports either from BPC or SAP download that enables timely and detailed analysis on an ad-hoc basis
  • Providing financial training to commercial team where required
  • Mapping and streamlining processes in the region to improve efficiencies and transparency
  • Any other ad-hoc requirements

Education Requirements

Bachelor's Degree Required

Education Specifications

  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is Required. A CPA/CA or equivalent is desired.
  • Written and spoken English

Experience Requirements

 

  • The successful candidate will have a minimum of 7 years related work and/or public accounting experience.
  • Working experience with SAP
  • Deep working knowledge in structuring large databases to drive business insights
  • Working experience in management reporting tools such as BPC / Hyperion / Essbase etc. highly preferred
  • Competency in the use of spreadsheets and accounting systems for the purpose of analysis and financial modeling.  Knowledge of databases and Power Query would be advantageous.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Finance and experience in a variety of Finance areas.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and skills necessary to communicate with all levels of management.
  • Strong attention to detail while maintaining the broader, analytical perspective; and excellent organizational skills with the ability to balance multiple tasks under time constraints.
