The Harley-Davidson Motor Company Product Development Center (PDC) located in Wauwatosa, WI is home to the mantra – You dream it. We build it. Join our team as a  Sr. Motorcycle Stylist.

Job Summary

Join our team as a Senior Designer Stylist in the Harley-Davidson Styling & Design Studio and deliver legendary designs that connect emotion with our customers while integrating with Product Development functions throughout the process.

Job Responsibilities

This is what you will do:

  • Create original and inspirational ideas that leverage the brand and its rich history while making them meaningful to the customer
  • Participate as a brand steward by effectively communicating the tenants of Harley-Davidson branded design with all stakeholders
  • Conceptualize and communicate design options that acknowledge stakeholder constraints and targets
  • Leverage market knowledge and consumer insights to deliver trend-setting products that exceed the needs of the target customer

Education Specifications

  • A bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design or related field is required.

Experience Requirements

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience. In addition, they will have demonstrated the following:

  • Experience within a product design field with an emphasis on transportation related industries
  • Experience creating designs that deliver the business and voice of customer targets in a fresh & innovative way while moving the brand forward
  • Ability to effectively communicate ideas and design direction with cross-functional teams
  • Demonstrates strong knowledge and application of engineering and manufacturing feasibility criteria relative to the design of motorsports or mobility products.
  • Experience with leading design responsibility from ideation phase through final production
