Job Summary


This position is responsible for completing the design, configuration, and implementation governance of technical solutions across multiple global functional business areas as related to the ERP SAP Source to Pay (STP-Procurement and Inventory Management). This role provides effective solution designs to meet system strategies, capabilities, and technologies, to respond to current and future business requirements. Ensure that solutions are integrated end-to-end and that the necessary integration testing occurs to validate a solution and its touchpoints to ensure the technology meets stated Service Level Agreements and Key Performance Indicators.  


Job Responsibilities


  • Complete technical designs for information systems, ranging from high-level conceptual designs to detailed technical specifications.  Complete technical, infrastructure, and application efforts and initiatives. 

  • Execute system/application installation, patching, rollouts, releases, and upgrades ensuring technical standards and strategies are being followed.  

  • Perform quality assurance reviews of technical specifications produced by external resources contributing to H-D technology projects and perform quality assurance reviews of the work product of developers to ensure compliance with the design specifications.  

  • Recommend design changes to production systems in response to changing business process, capacity, risks, and performance requirements.  

  • Periodically review technology foundation to develop lifecycle roadmaps for them.  

  • Contribute to the prioritization of technology problems and enhancement requests.  

  • Provide consulting and support services to identify technology system’s operational, monitoring, and reporting requirements. 


Education Requirements

Bachelor's Degree Preferred

Education Specifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Business Administration, Information Systems is preferred. Advanced degree a plus

Experience Requirements




  • 5 years of experience in SAP ECC 6.0 and/or SAP Hana.
  • Demonstrated capability to analyze business processes/understand business challenges and provide innovative solutions.
  • Extensive knowledge of business processes and application functionality to enable the resolution of complex problems. 
  • 5 years of more SAP, Inventory Management, Procurement, e-Procurement implementation experience (SRM, Ariba, Coupa, 3rd party catalogs, etc.) including at least 2 full lifecycle SAP projects.
  • Strong hands-on SAP MM and SRM configuration experience using waterfall or agile methodology.
  • Strong understanding of SAP "end-to-end Source to Pay" process with expert knowledge in SAP Materials Management.
  • Experience in creating functional specifications and design documents for RICEF items is essential.
  • Strong functional knowledge of MRP, MRO, Inventory Management, Procurement, Supplier Relationship Management, and related business process, best practices, and related SAP integration supporting capabilities. 
  • Expert knowledge of SAP configuration and transport creation and release process. 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with technical and functional teams. 
  • Team-oriented self-starter with excellent organization skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and multi-task.
  • Effective collaboration and interpersonal skills are required to communicate and work with business and other IS functions. 
  • Must be a quick learner-understanding new processes and new programs.
  • Understanding of architecture of the Core SAP system landscape and other external systems connected to SAP like Ariba/Concur/APO.
  • Expert knowledge of SAP MM and integrations from SAP to other systems via PI/PO and IDOC interfaces.
  • Good understanding of the overall interactions between the SAP modules and the integrations with other non-SAP applications.




  • Experience in SAP Hana is a plus
  • Knowledge of Windshuttle studio and other SAP tools like LSMW will be an added advantage
