Job Summary

Harley-Davidson's Digital Office (Technology team) is expanding to better support our initiatives for engaging consumers online. We are hiring Developers, UX/UI, Digital Product Managers, QA, Growth Hacking, Scrum, and Data Engineers. All of these skillsets are new to the organization.  We are looking for an experienced Sr. Technical Recruiter who will be responsible full lifecycle recruiting for Harley-Davidson's Digital Offense team (listed above) and Digital Defense team (including Solution Architecture, Security, Project Management and Enterprise Planning.) This is a great opportunity for someone looking for variety in Tech Recruiting! Responsibilities include partnering with the hiring manager, heavy sourcing activities and the entire interview and offer process. 

Job Responsibilities

  • Recruiting Leadership: Serves as the lead talent acquisition expert for Digital department. Partners with hiring managers and business leaders to identify qualified candidates, seeks feedback and makes hiring recommendations. Educates and communicates appropriate expectations to and influence hiring managers and Human Resources business partners regarding the talent acquisition process.
  • Talent Networks: Works closely with the Digital team to forecast future needs, and develops sourcing strategies to fill open positions as well as create a talent pipeline. Builds and maintains professional networks (Affinity groups, User groups, community organizations), and social networking (LinkedIn, Github, etc).
  • Candidate Experience: Partners with the Talent Acquisition recruitment coordinator to ensure all candidates are getting the best candidate experience. Single point of contact for candidates through the recruitment process.
  • Data Analytics: Understand the key metrics that impact talent acquisition and the business. Use data to explain roadblocks in the recruiting process and recommend solutions. Provide regular updates to your business units on key Human Resources metrics
  • Continuous Improvement: Participate in and lead various projects within talent acquisition to improve the overall talent acquisition process.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's Degree Preferred

Education Specifications

  • Degree in Human Resources or related area Preferred.

Experience Requirements


  • Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience
  • Technical recruiting experience required
  • Experience in full lifecycle recruiting of professional positions in a corporate environment preferred, including experience developing creative and innovative sourcing strategies.
  • Ability to build relationships with hiring managers at all levels of the organization
  • Experience identifying and maintaining relationships with passive candidates.
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
