The Mgr. Network Development and Performance approves and executes plans for the initial development of the LiveWire dealer network and will support the execution of future relocations, terminations, refurbishments, tool and program implementation, and dealer training. In addition, has direct responsibility for the development, implementation, and execution of a LW performance strategy. 


The incumbent is responsible for supporting the development and execution of dealers’ capabilities within the dealer network. A company advocate and expert on how to successfully implement dealer capabilities through specific measurements to improve dealer operations and profit.


This manager is an effective leader that enables its team to effectively make decisions, prioritize work, and proactively address opportunities at the market-level. The Mgr Network Development and Performance maintains team focus on delivering future state, and continuously improves by working in new ways. This include partnering with internal and external training partners to develop and deliver the necessary training curriculum to support commercial business needs.


The role will report, communicate, and collaborate with the Director of Sales to foster the development of the team along with growing the North American business. To accomplish this, it will be necessary to also collaborate and partner with internal organizations including Sales Operations, Marketing, Legal, Finance and HR to develop the approach and processes to accomplish the work. 


Successful Mgr. Network Development and Performance will have previous auto or powersports district management responsibilities with a demonstrated track record of success.


Job Responsibilities:
•    Oversees and directly conducts market and network analytics, prospecting, and new dealer appointments.
•    Manages dealer commercial and technical training, working closely with the market teams to analyze training levels, identify needs and manage the enrollment and fulfillment processes, working with HDU.
•    Develops and implements a LW focused Performance Management process and supporting metrics.
•    Lead and enable Network Development Leads to work effectively & collaboratively, by developing the necessary leadership behaviors, skill sets, and differentiating capabilities.
•    Responsible for the development and implementation of dealer capabilities and consistent application and measurement of these capabilities throughout the dealer network.
•    Ensures that the dealer performance program remains relevant by periodically assessing, improving, and refining the format.
•    Defines and clearly communicates a course of action designed to establish and facilitate sales performance measures and strategies based on a careful review of current and forecasted business conditions, stakeholder expectations, sources of competitive advantage and organizational capability
•    Maintains a level of interaction with the end-customer that allows this position to ensure that the strategic sales direction developed by this role is appropriately informed.
•    Partners with stakeholders to enhance the customer experience through the growth to the Dealer Network's and sales force's capabilities.

Experience Requirements:
We are looking for an experienced sales leader who can step into this newly created role and make an immediate impact on LiveWire’s future.  This is an exciting opportunity to lead in an emerging space in the EV industry as we build our exciting electric portfolio.

To be successful in this role you must be able to lead through ambiguity and collaborate with multiple stakeholders.  You must be an excellent communicator- including the ability to communicate with internal and external stakeholders. All applicants who choose to apply for this opportunity should be prepared to demonstrate at least 8 years of Sales experience, which includes
•    Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of related experience.
•    Strong understanding of dealership financial systems/operations.
•    Experience working directly with dealership staff, preferably dealership owners and managers, with the ability to understand dealer issues and respond diplomatically.
•    Ability to manage highly confidential and sensitive information and develop effective business relationships with a diverse group of stakeholders both internal and external.
•    Excellent oral and written communication skills and articulate speaker presenter, committed to excellence and high standards.
•    Strong organizational, problem-solving and analytical skills.
•    Creative, flexible and innovative team player.
•    Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to work well with individuals and groups.
•    Demonstrates earned trust through environment they create with cross-functional teams and dealers.
•    Ability to operate with a holistic view of the retail business and enterprise operations.
•    Ability to identify and drive proactive work that aligns overall corporate vision respective market goals, while considering the most effective means of addressing dealer needs.
•    Position requires up to 35% travel.
•    Successful applicants for this position must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 as a condition of employment. Proof is required. A person is considered fully vaccinated 2 weeks after receipt of the second dose in a 2-dose series (Pfizer-BioNTech and Moderna) or 2 weeks after receipt of the single dose of the Janssen vaccine.
While not a requirement, some experience in brand development within powersports or EV is preferred.  We are looking for someone who is passionate about EVs and outdoor activities as well as technical product knowledge and an understanding of two wheeled mobility.
