Job Summary

We have an exciting opportunity to provide business partnering, cost center management, and a diverse range of financial projects support to LiveWire business leaders. The FP&A Manager will be the key financial contact for actual results, budgets, financial controls across the LiveWire division. Along with financial planning and reporting, this position will provide financial analysis, insight and guidance, and ensure an appropriate control environment. This position will also provide guidance, development and coaching to direct report(s).

Job Responsibilities

WHAT
•    Active member of the assigned business partner’s leadership teams, providing awareness of financial and operational performance and issues in order to deliver budgeted key measures.
•    Lead annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting and strategic plan updates.
•    Ensure all accounting complies with GAAP and that financial systems and controls are established where appropriate.
•    Provide business leaders support with proactive analytics, plan/forecast, accurate accounting, and variance analysis.

•    Lead with Rigor and Vision: Utilize a structured, methodical approach to vet and optimize products’ strategic and financial impact. Balance objective metrics with product intuition to develop opportunities, continually ensuring alignment with LiveWire business objectives.

•    Question Everything: Challenge the status quo and previous assumptions. Utilize a first-principles approach to identify or build upon opportunities and potential solutions.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's Degree Required

Education Specifications

•    Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting is Required. An MBA or CPA is Preferred. SAP Certifications a plus.

Experience Requirements

•    Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of related experience.
•    Seven years of progressive responsibility in finance, providing financial planning & analysis and project management.
•    Strong technical accounting background.
•    SAP experience preferred.
•    Demonstrated experience leading projects and people.
•    Experience with complex financial modeling.
•    Ability to manage multiple work streams and collaboratively lead groups to a common goal
•    Excellent written and verbal communication skills – able to distill complex concepts into clear, concise messages and recommendations.
•    Able to thrive in a self-directed culture, navigating ambiguity and creating direction.
•    Proficient computer skills, including office productivity tools (spreadsheets, word processing, calendaring, and presentation software), as well as General Ledger systems, Business Objects, or other reporting tools.
