This remote role is not tightly linked to a physical location and provides flexibility in where, when and how you accomplish your work.

Job Summary

The Lead Apparel Sales Professional role is responsible for executing seasonal sales activities in support of company financial objectives.  This includes leading the development of business growth strategies within your assigned territory and working with both the customer and the cross-functional team to achieve both short and long-term objectives.  You will build and maintain relationships with your customers, providing expertise, knowledge, new product information consistent with company objectives and standards.  In this role, you are responsible for consistently communicating marketplace feedback and account specific needs.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage sales programs within your assigned territory in support of company financial objectives and seasonal sell-in strategies
  • Engage in the development and execution of seasonal Go-To-Market activities in support of the business and within your account base
  • Responsible for securing and renewing orders while offering additional support and activities associated with the sell and customer service processes
  • Establish and maintain professional customer/vendor relationships with appropriate customer personnel
  • Maintain open communication between the company and customers on topics including, but not limited to, products, company services, and supply/price trends.
  • Assist with customer or product problems and/or refer to customer service

Education Requirements

Bachelor's Degree Preferred

Experience Requirements

Required

  • Minimum 8 years of inside/outside sales experience with apparel and accessories
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills both verbally and digitally
  • Organization & time management skills with the ability to work and execute remotely
  • Strong attention to detail and a team-oriented mindset
  • Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, & Teams)
  • Experience successfully managing and growing a specialty wholesale and/or retail business a plus
  • Travel-up to 50% required
