The Harley-Davidson Motor Company Vehicle Operations facility in York is our final assembly plant. Employees at York also perform a variety of manufacturing operations, including fabrication, welding, polishing and painting and produce a wide range of current and replacement parts for all models. Job Summary

Evaluates the level of human and capital assets required for given schedules and product mixes maximizing workflow and floor space utilization. Provides input in development of both operations and capital budgets. Goals and standardization of work heavily rely on experience, judgement and plant operations.

Job Responsibilities

  • Work with stakeholders In plant operations to ensure facility efficiency and workplace safety.
  • Establish a participative approach to problem solving resulting in a reputation for accomplishing tasks through actively engaging the rotation group members to identify and resolve issues.
  • Demonstrate knowledge in budget planning processes.
  • Identify the level of human and capital assets required for given schedules and product mixes maximizing workflow and floor space utilization.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's Degree Preferred

Education Specifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering Preferred
  • HS Diploma or GED Required

Experience Requirements

Required

  • Typically requires a minimum of 3 years of related experience.

Preferred

  • Prior experience in working in a manufacturing or distribution center utilizing lean manufacturing concepts including value stream mapping
  • Previous experience in capacity planning (productivity measurements, manpower planning and material flow analysis)

The pay range shown represents the national average pay range for this role. Your pay may be more or less than the stated range and is dependent on your geographic location and level of experience.
