Position Duties:

• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to design, develop and deliver chassis structures (frames, swing arms and rider vehicle interface) components to production

• Deliver optimal designs while adhering to project targets, performance objectives, high quality, and cost minimization

• Utilize engineering tools such as CAD models and drawings, as well as, predictive analysis and conventional engineering calculations to demonstrate and communicate robustness of designs

• Develop and track work through detailed project plans

• Lead presentation of design options through a formalized design review process

• Perform DFMEAs, DVP&Rs, analyze test results and bring closure to test findings

Education Required
This position requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related technical degree.

Experience Required
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience. In addition they will have demonstrated the following:

• Experience in evaluating and balancing requirements

• Familiarity with manufacturing and assembly processes

• Strong understanding of fundamental physics

• Demonstrated examples of innovative thinking and creative problem solving approaches

• Familiarity with CAD tools

• Strong analytical and communication skills

• Ability to effectively learn and adapt in a dynamic environment

• Understands project management tools and principles (requirements, scheduling, risk mitigation, budget, and metrics) through training and experience

• Experience with root cause identification methodologies
