Located just outside of the heart of DFW, and in one of the fastest growing suburbs, the Plano, Texas office serves as one of the Company's two operations centers. It serves as the main hub for HDFS’ Commercial Finance business, and also houses employees representing Rider Services, Underwriting, Risk, Enterprise Project Management, Accounting, Compliance, Human Resources, Global Information Services, Communications, and Legal. Job Summary

This position is responsible for daily volume processing, cash receipts processing, or a combination of both as determined by the Manager Accounting.  Assist customers with questions about their accounts, and research and resolve issues daily.

Job Responsibilities

 

Volume Processing

  • Prepares documents on manual invoicing and loads electronic invoicing received from Distributors/manufacturers for processing into the computer system.
  • Distributes Statements of Transactions and other reports as required.
  • Checks for and corrects any errors generated during and after system input.

 

Cash Receipts

  • Prepares bank deposits and cash receipts through either manual, lockbox, or electronic application processing (EPAY), as directed and following documented procedures.
  • Answers dealer inquiries regarding cash problems by working closely with the operations staff.
  • Creates disbursements in funding manufacturer volume, general bills, used funding, and refund overpayments as directed.
  • Balance daily reports and system activity as directed.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by the Manager of Accounting.
  • Responsible for protecting employees, customers, and corporate information.  Follows established physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards, including policies regarding data protection, segregation of duties, use of passwords, and access to information based solely on business need.  In addition, any company-proprietary information (including but not limited to customer information) may not be transferred or transported outside of HDFS by employees upon leaving the company.
  • Maintains a current awareness and understanding of appropriate banking laws, regulations, internal policies, and procedures, and complies fully with those laws, regulations, policies, and procedures.

Experience Requirements

 

Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required. 
  • One to three years of related work experience in finance or a similar industry.    
  • Working knowledge of menu-based computer systems.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office applications.

The pay range shown represents the national average pay range for this role. Your pay may be more or less than the stated range and is dependent on your geographic location and level of experience.
