Key Deliverables:

• The Graphic Designer creates innovative artwork and reworks directional graphics for various collections.

• Further develop graphic options and techniques. This role provides creative support for teams as well as independently researches and creates graphics that are diversified and brand appropriate.

• Maintain an awareness of global trends to develop diversified art for all regions.

• They demonstrate originality and creativity as well as provide valuable creative insights and successful strategies to support business strategies.

• Expected to share trends and designs with the teams.

• Supports the development of creative direction of various product collections.

• Build customer and product knowledge by going competitive shopping and staying on top of current market trends as well as future technologies that could be opportunities that they are expected to share with teams.

• Advanced knowledge and understanding of the GM PDP and they share their knowledge with the team.

• Fluent in design software, systems and Flex PLM.

• Provide highly detailed and accurately rendered graphic packages to ensure quality and process efficiencies.

• Build working relationships with suppliers and ensure a more efficient development process with less quality concerns by communicating with them directly.

• Supports the Graphic Design Lead with design projects for Marketing and Licensing as needed.

• Support the overall GM events when needed and attend close to the customer opportunities.

Education Required
Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design, Illustration or a related field is required. If the candidate does not meet the degree requirement, a combination of relevant education and experience should total the equivalent of ten years.

Experience Required
A minimum of four (4) years of experience in graphic design in a related industry, preferably in the motorcycle industry. In addition, they will have demonstrated the following:


• Experience in production art application techniques (screen print, embroidery, heat setting, etc.)

• Possess artistic talent and have professional sketching ability by hand and by use of Mac based design software.

• Fluent in Mac based design applications and OS: Illustrator & Photoshop required, InDesign and Painter a plus.

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications: Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

• Knowledge of using eRoom, FTP sites and Flex PLM a plus.

• Ability to collaborate across functions with key stakeholders.

• Ability to multi-task, prioritize workload and meet deadlines.

• Ability to be self-motivated and is driven to research and create when direction may be ambiguous.

• Ability to organize and clean up files on the server.

• Review Licensing art submissions through Licensing Management System and provide creative support when needed.

• Must have the ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed

• Create brand appropriate graphics that enhance and support Creative Direction

• Ensure consistent use of trademarks and review phrases and graphic elements with Legal and Quality

• Possess a passion for creativity and have a great sense of design aesthetics and innovation

• Must be self-motivated and possess ability to work on multiple assignments and take on new and varied tasks.

• Must be comfortable with change and tolerant of ambiguity

• Must be very well organized, have good time management and be deadline oriented

• Must have the ability to convey and present ideas and concepts at various development meetings.

Technology and Product Knowledge

• Research the motorcycle market and apparel market to ensure that trending graphics are reflected in line.

• Attend Tattoo Shows, Seminars and Continuing Education/Training Workshops to remain well informed and up to date with current technologies and production techniques for art.

• Build knowledge and skills by staying on cutting edge of design software and OS systems
