Job Summary
The Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Project Manager is responsible for leading and managing major projects on the multi-year (CRM) roadmap. You will be responsible for treating customer data as a corporate asset, communicating the importance of customer data to the organization.

In this role, you will assist in the development of CRM best practices and strategies on a global basis for the organization. Responsibilities include working closely with internal stakeholders, including Marketing, GIS, Finance, Sales, Operations, Customer Service, and Harley-Davidson international offices, to integrate their needs and plans into CRM project plans.

In this role you will:

• Partner with project champions, steering committee, and team to solidify scope, resources, schedule, and budget.

• Effectively manage projects to deliver on cost, quality, and timing targets.

• Continually evaluate project plans to identify potential risks and dependencies that could affect the project goals; develops appropriate mitigation plans; and escalates critical risks and issues to sponsors, champions, and steering committee in a timely manner.

• Organize and facilitate project steering committee meetings and phase gate exit reviews, and prepares all associated content for review and approval.

• Follow the HDI Project Management Methodology, utilizing sound project management processes and tools, and work collaboratively with project team members to instill project management discipline across all projects.

• Partner and collaborate with various internal and external stakeholder groups to identify needs, establish objectives, and gather information to achieve departmental and Company goals.

Education Required
Position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related discipline.

Experience Required

• Minimum of 7 years project management experience, and must have demonstrated proficiency in leading project teams

• Requires strong project management skills with a proven ability to manage multiple large, customer-focused initiatives involving cross-functional teams and external partners

• Demonstrated Customer Relationship Management experience

• Requires the ability to plan, prioritize, and manage multiple projects effectively

• PMP certification, or equivalent work experience

• Proficiency with standard project management tools (i.e., MS Project) and Microsoft suite

• Demonstrated ability to influence others without direct authority

• Ability to motivate teams to accomplish shared goals with tight timeframes

• Must have leadership style that encourages collaboration, cooperation, and teamwork, and have the ability to constructively challenge and motivate others

• Ability to resolve issues through use of thoughtful, objective analysis and involvement of stakeholders

• Understands customer data privacy and implementing data governance polices across the corporation

• Demonstrated ability to address business process issues

• Must have the ability to manage relationships and build consensus with a diverse set of stakeholders at every level of the Company

• Experience in budgeting and cost management required

• Effective problem solving, dispute resolution, and team-building skills required
