Job Summary:
The Maintenance Electrical will perform troubleshooting and subsequent repairs to CNC and conventional machines in an industrial and/or manufacturing setting. These responsibilities include servicing, maintaining, and testing of various electrical systems and related components, as well as performing preventive maintenance tasks of general machinery on the shop floor.

Education Required:
A Journeyman Card or six years of applicable experience as a qualified repair person in troubleshooting and repair of electrical systems, relay, and PLC controls for machine repair in an industrial environment. Support the production operation by providing timely response to all breakdowns. Troubleshoot and perform required electrical maintenance on motors and controls, analog and digital devices, computers and PLC’s, CNC controls, safety circuits, power supplies, robotics, mechanical and hydraulic systems, and 480v, 3 phase power systems, CNC machines, and other equipment. Perform routine preventive maintenance (PM) activities. Utilize the CMMS to record and track work activities including time keeping, historical equipment repairs, and work order/PM closures. Actively participate in Root Cause Analysis activities to improve equipment up-time. Perform routine material handling and housekeeping associated with machine repair. Wear communication device. Participate in any Skills Training Program. Follow all safety procedures such as wearing PPE and using LOTO.
